There is a consistent pattern of inhibited, emotionally withdrawn behavior toward adult caregivers.

It is a pattern of behavior that involves culturally inappropriate, overly familiar behavior with relative strangers.

Experiencing a traumatic event or repeated and extreme exposure to aversive details of the traumatic event.
